Real-Life Lexus LS400 Inspired By Pixelated Video Game Version
Original: Someone Built A Real-Life Version Of The Pixellated Lexus LS400 And I Guess You Can Win It And Beat The Crap Out Of It
A real-life replica of the pixelated Lexus LS400 from a video game has been built, and reports suggest it can be won by participants, who are then apparently free to drive it hard and abuse it. The unusual premise — winning a car only to beat the crap out of it — is drawing attention from car enthusiasts and gamers alike, blending nostalgia for classic racing games with a bizarre real-world marketing stunt.
Why now: The novelty of a pixelated video game car being recreated in real life and given away to be driven roughly is an unusual, eye-catching story.
