Original: DHS Issues Statement After ICE Arrests Illegal Alien from Nigeria Who Exposed Himself in Public While Working for Congressional Campaign in Pennsylvania

The Department of Homeland Security says ICE arrested a Nigerian man living illegally in the United States who allegedly exposed himself in public while working for a congressional campaign in Pennsylvania. DHS publicized the arrest in a statement, drawing attention to the case and prompting debate about immigration enforcement and the vetting of campaign staff.

Why now: Immigration enforcement remains a hot-button issue and the arrest of a campaign worker gives political critics material on both sides.
