Original: BBC's Nicky Campbell tells court teacher who attacked him 'completely lost it' https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmvgx

BBC presenter Nicky Campbell has given evidence in court, saying a teacher who attacked him 'completely lost it'. Campbell, a long-serving radio and television broadcaster, is testifying about the assault, and his account has drawn public attention given his prominence at the BBC and his previous public discussion of childhood experiences at school in Scotland.

Why now: A well-known BBC broadcaster giving emotional court testimony about being attacked by a teacher is naturally newsworthy.
