Drake Skips Submitting Music for 2027 Grammys
Original: Drake Didn’t Submit Any Music for 2027 Grammy Consideration – Report
Drake has not submitted any of his music for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards, according to a report. The move means none of his recent releases will be eligible for nominations at the ceremony. The news is drawing attention given the rapper's long, complicated history with the Recording Academy, including past criticisms of the institution and his 2019 boycott of the show.
Why now: Drake's fraught history with the Grammys makes his decision to skip the process a notable statement about his relationship with the awards.
