A gardener in Melbourne is enjoying the seasonal flowering of the Cecile Brunner rose, sharing that the blooms now visible are on the lower part of the fence after possums ate the higher growth. The post mixes appreciation for the climbing rose with a wry note about local wildlife acting as 'native pruners'.
Why now: Rose blooming season in Melbourne prompts gardeners to share their flowers and trade notes on coping with possums.
