Detained immigrants at a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Georgia have begun a hunger strike to protest what they describe as torture and abusive treatment. In a statement reported by the World Socialist Web Site, participants declared, "We don't deserve this treatment." The action highlights mounting complaints over conditions inside ICE detention centers and is drawing attention from advocacy groups and rights campaigners.
