Maike Meijer stars in menopause comedy Wen er maar aan

Original: maike meijer

Maike Meijer appears in the Dutch comedy "Wen er maar aan", in which the menopause takes centre stage. A review in Het Parool describes a production in which the menopause seems, for a while, like the end of everything. The show treats a stage of life that is rarely given comic spotlight, mixing humour with the physical and emotional upheaval it portrays, and is drawing attention in the Netherlands.

Why now: A fresh newspaper review of the comedy has put Maike Meijer and the menopause theme in the spotlight.
