Original: peter jan rens

Dutch presenter Peter Jan Rens will still attend the Televizier-Ring gala in Amsterdam despite a slip-up that initially caused problems with his invitation. RTL reports he was stunned by the situation. The gala organiser has confirmed he remains welcome, and the incident is drawing attention in the run-up to the Dutch television awards evening.

Why now: A well-known TV personality's gala invitation mix-up became a news story just before the Televizier-Ring awards.
