Original: The EV surge: Six in ten electric car drivers have convinced others to switch
A new survey suggests six in ten electric car owners have personally persuaded someone else to buy an electric vehicle, highlighting how word of mouth is driving the EV surge. Drivers' recommendations are seen as a key factor in accelerating adoption, with satisfied owners becoming informal ambassadors for the technology as electric car sales continue to climb.
Why now: Electric vehicle adoption is a fast-growing topic and the finding that owners actively convert others underscores the momentum of the EV transition.
