Emergency climate briefing leaves Britons feeling misinformed
Original: Britons kept in dark about scale of climate crisis, say viewers of 'first-of-its-kind' emergency briefing https://www.th
Viewers of what organisers call the first-of-its-kind climate emergency briefing in Britain say the experience revealed how little they had been told about the true scale of the crisis. Many said the briefing showed the UK public has been kept in the dark about the severity of climate impacts, prompting reflection on gaps in mainstream coverage and public communication.
Why now: A novel public emergency briefing on climate change has prompted people to question how well-informed Britons are about the crisis.
