South Carson Arby's closing after 40 years
Original: arby's
An Arby's restaurant in South Carson, Nevada, is shutting down after operating since 1985. The Carson Now announcement was written as a mock obituary, marking the fast-food location's four-decade run with the dates 1985 to 2026. Longtime customers are mourning the loss of a familiar local stop as the chain's presence in the area shrinks.
Why now: Locals are reacting to the closure of a long-standing neighborhood restaurant announced in an obituary-style notice.
