Agarkar passed over; Ojha paved way for Bhuvneshwar Kumar's return

Original: അജിത് അഗാര്ക്കര്

Chief selector Ajit Agarkar had not considered Bhuvneshwar Kumar, but the senior seamer's return to contention came about after former spinner Pragyan Ojha intervened on his behalf, according to reports in Malayalam media. The claim has sparked debate among cricket fans about how India's selection decisions are made and who influences them.

Why now: New reporting that Pragyan Ojha's intervention, not Agarkar's initiative, led to Bhuvneshwar Kumar's return is drawing attention from cricket fans.
