President Trump wants to convert one of his Florida golf clubs into a presidential retreat similar to Camp David, the Maryland hideaway long used by US leaders. The proposal raises questions about blending his personal business properties with official presidential functions, and it is drawing attention for the potential cost, security and ethics implications involved.
Why now: The plan mixes Trump's private business interests with presidential infrastructure, drawing political and ethical scrutiny.
