Alonso dashes Dakar rally rumours despite Aston Martin speculation
Original: motorsport
Motorsport talk centres on Fernando Alonso, who responded to rumours linking him to the 2027 Dakar Rally, reportedly with Aston Martin involvement, saying: "I don't think that's possible." Attention is also on the DTM, where a documentary series trailer was released and a dominant win for 'Mad Max' was compared to victories of past eras.
Why now: Alonso's dismissal of the Dakar rumours came just as reports claimed he could race there in 2027 with Aston Martin, prompting wide discussion.
