Moth photographed resting on chrysanthemum leaf
# natur
A photographer in Japan shared a macro shot of a moth resting on a chrysanthemum leaf. The insect appears to be a slug moth species known as Kishitahosoba, noted for its streamlined form. It sat still with its antennae tucked beneath its wings, possibly camouflaging itself as a leaf or petal.
Why now: The striking close-up and the moth's leaf-mimicking posture are drawing attention from nature photography enthusiasts.
