Google has released Google AI Edge Foresight for macOS, a smart AI note-taking application that links with users' actual work to take notes automatically. The announcement drew attention among Japanese tech observers, with some commenting wryly that naming a product 'Edge' adds to the confusion around Google's many AI and browser brands, a possible headache for users keeping track of them.
Why now: Google's new release was just announced, and the 'Edge' name invites jokes and confusion with Microsoft's browser.
