Original: A robot entered a Denver comedy club. (This isn’t a joke.)
A robot appeared at a Denver comedy club, in a stunt framed as a real event rather than a gag. The Colorado Sun reported on the machine's entrance into the standup venue, an unusual collision of artificial intelligence and live comedy that raises questions about whether robots can hold an audience's attention or deliver an actual punchline.
Why now: The novelty of a robot performing in a human comedy space is drawing curiosity about AI's reach into entertainment.
