Falling in love with Dinosaur Jr. all over again
Original: Where I Been: Falling in love with Dinosaur Jr. all over again
A new personal essay describes rediscovering Dinosaur Jr., the Massachusetts alternative rock band fronted by J Mascis, and falling in love with their music all over again. The piece reflects on how the band's fuzzy guitars and slacker-era sound continue to resonate with listeners decades after their late-1980s and early-1990s breakthrough.
Why now: Nostalgia-driven writing about a beloved alt-rock band continues to draw readers interested in revisiting their catalog.
