AI companies are seeking the creation of new generic top-level domains dedicated to artificial intelligence, similar to existing endings like .com, .biz or .paris. Observers are discussing what the change would mean for branding, web addressing and how AI services present themselves online.
Why now: The rapid growth of the AI industry is driving demand for dedicated internet naming, a topic of active debate in domain governance circles.
