iPhone Air 2 rumored to be significantly thinner than original
Original: Perhaps obviously, iPhone Air 2 rumored to be significantly thinner than original
Reports citing AppleInsider claim Apple's second-generation iPhone Air will be noticeably thinner than the original iPhone Air. No specifications, launch date, or named sources accompany the rumor, so the extent of the slimming and any trade-offs remain unknown. The original iPhone Air was already Apple's thinnest handset, making a further reduction a notable design step.
Why now: Apple design rumors typically draw wide attention ahead of a next-generation launch, and the original iPhone Air's thinness made this a natural talking point.
