Apple TV Moves On From Ted Lasso With New Sports Comedy
Original: Apple TV Officially Leaves ‘Ted Lasso’ Behind With New Upbeat Sport Series Trailer
Apple TV has released the trailer for a new upbeat sports series, signalling a shift away from its flagship comedy Ted Lasso, which concluded after three seasons. Collider reports the streaming service is positioning the new show as its next feel-good sports title, as Apple looks to build a fresh comedy hit in the wake of its most recognised original series.
Why now: Ted Lasso was Apple TV's marquee show, so any successor in the feel-good sports genre draws close attention from fans and media.
