Gardener heads to Schiermonnikoog as garden nominated for sustainability prize
Original: Ik ben weer onderweg naar Schiermonnikoog om een paar dagen de handen uit de mouwen te steken op De Tuin naast de Brandi
A volunteer is travelling back to Schiermonnikoog, the car-free Dutch Wadden island, to spend several days helping out at De Tuin naast de Branding, a garden project on the island. The garden has been nominated for the Duurzame 30 Noord-Nederland, a sustainability list for the northern Netherlands, and the project is asking supporters to vote for it in the public prize category.
Why now: The garden is asking the public to vote for it while it competes for the Duurzame 30 public prize.
