Original: raf molesworth
Two Latvian nationals have been arrested for trespassing at RAF Molesworth, a former airbase in Cambridgeshire with historical links to US military operations. The Telegraph reported the arrests, which have drawn attention because of the site's sensitivity as a UK defence installation and its past role in American intelligence activities. Details on why the pair entered the base have not been confirmed.
Why now: Arrests of foreign nationals at a UK military base raise immediate security concerns.
