Racing Bulls driver Isack Hadjar has called for Formula 1's new cooling vests to be banned, arguing that racing in extreme heat is part of the challenge. "It's supposed to be tough," the French rookie said, taking a stance against the equipment introduced to help drivers cope in hot conditions. The comments come as the sport introduces driver cooling systems for high-temperature races, and reactions are split between safety concerns and preserving the sport's physical demands.

Why now: F1 has recently introduced cooling vests for drivers in hot races, and Hadjar's opposition sparks debate over safety versus tradition.
