Aleksander Ceferin has announced he will stand for a fourth term as Uefa president, extending his leadership of European football's governing body beyond 2027. Ceferin, who has led Uefa since 2016, faced criticism in 2023 when rule changes removed term limits, a move seen as opening the way for another re-election bid.
Why now: European football fans are debating the extended tenure of Uefa's leader after term-limit changes cleared the way for a fourth mandate
