Original: Genau dafür liebe ich das # Internet : # Doom auf einer # Vectrex Natürlich läuft das und es sieht aus wie pure # kunst
Retro gaming enthusiasts are celebrating a new port of the 1993 shooter Doom for the Vectrex, an obscure 1982 vector graphics console. The port runs despite the hardware's extreme limitations, and observers are calling the blocky vector visuals a form of accidental art. It is the latest in a long line of Doom ports to unlikely devices, a staple of the hobbyist scene.
Why now: The Doom modding community regularly ports the game to unlikely hardware, and each new port delights retro gaming fans.
