Jelle Bakker built Marblopolis, a kinetic sculpture in the Netherlands made from more than 300 metres of toy track, sending hundreds of marbles rolling through 30 distinct routes at once. The setup combined LEGO, K'NEX and classic marble runs, and was dismantled after running. Clips of the contraption in motion are drawing attention online from fans of marble runs and physics demonstrations.

Why now: A visually striking, large-scale marble machine video is circulating and fascinating viewers.
