American voters are being reminded to verify their voter registration status before October 13th, as many people expect to receive a ballot but are not registered. Voters are also being pointed to resources listing state-by-state ID and voting rules, including the National Association of Secretaries of State site and VoteRiders, to make sure they can cast a ballot without problems.

Why now: Election season is driving reminders so voters do not discover registration problems too late.
