Microsoft launches Xbox XP division for films and theme parks

Original: xbox

Microsoft has founded a new division called Xbox XP covering films, series, merchandise and theme parks, signalling an effort to turn Xbox into a broader entertainment brand. Alongside this, Minecraft has a new leader recruited from Reddit and Meta as Microsoft reshuffles its gaming leadership, and Mafia 3 has received a major update adding 60 fps support and bug fixes.

Why now: Microsoft expanding Xbox beyond gaming into entertainment and leadership changes is drawing attention in German gaming media.
