Original: You can now use TextExpander for free across Mac, iPhone, iPad, and more
TextExpander, the text expansion app long offered as a paid subscription, can now be used for free across Mac, iPhone, iPad and other platforms. The move makes the popular productivity tool available to a much wider audience, and Apple-focused news outlets are highlighting it as a notable change for users who type repetitive text daily. Details on what features remain behind a paid plan were not immediately clear.
Why now: A widely used paid productivity app becoming free is a significant change for Mac and iOS users.
