Reboot of Lucio Fulci's Horror Classic 'The Beyond' Announced
Original: The World Does Not Need a Reboot of Lucio Fulci's Creepy Masterpiece 'The Beyond' https://gizmodo.com/the-world-does-not
A reboot of Lucio Fulci's 1981 cult horror film 'The Beyond' is reportedly in the works, and reaction has been skeptical. Commenters argue the surreal, gore-heavy original is a singular cult favorite that a modern remake is unlikely to improve on, with many saying the film's eerie atmosphere cannot be easily reproduced.
Why now: News of a remake of a beloved cult horror classic typically provides strong fan backlash online.
