Modders Run PS5 Interface on PC After Linux Breakthrough

Original: anyps5

Hackers have moved a step further in the PlayStation 5 modding scene: after previously getting Linux to run on the console, they have now managed to run the PS5's user interface on ordinary PCs. The project demonstrates how far unofficial work on Sony's hardware has progressed, and it is drawing attention across gaming communities in Germany, the UK and Australia, where searches for the topic are climbing.

Why now: The PS5 modding scene just hit a new milestone, with the console's interface now running on PC hardware.
