Original: strage di fort hood

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has approved the public broadcast of the execution of Nidal Hasan, the perpetrator of the 2009 Fort Hood shooting that killed 13 people. Donald Trump has also backed the decision, and the firing squad execution is expected to be streamed, reigniting debate over capital punishment in the United States.

Why now: The US government has just announced the execution of the Fort Hood attacker will be public and streamed, a highly unusual move.
