WordPress ends Weekly Photo Challenges, bloggers share farewells
Original: ny gifts dreaming… a random bit ** in the ending of The Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenges from WordPress , here’s you
WordPress has brought The Daily Post's Weekly Photo Challenges to an end, and photography bloggers are marking the close of the long-running community feature. In response, writer Yiching Lin posted a farewell entry offering her own Sunday photo prompt on the theme of 'gifts and dreaming', weaving in a Medicine Buddha mantra and wishes for health, wealth and prosperity. Participants who relied on the weekly prompts are now sharing their own themed challenges and reflecting on years of taking part.
Why now: Bloggers who participated in the long-running Weekly Photo Challenge are reacting to its discontinuation and keeping the tradition going themselves.
