Original: 'Defending Our Democracies Means Having the Courage to Identify the Threats They Face': CAM Welcomes European Parliament's Call for Action Against Muslim Brotherhood
The Combat Antisemitism Movement has welcomed a European Parliament call for action against the Muslim Brotherhood, framing it as a necessary step in defending European democracies. The organisation argues that protecting democratic institutions requires the courage to openly identify the threats they face, and praised lawmakers for taking that stance.
Why now: A major European institution taking a public stance against the Muslim Brotherhood is politically significant and contested.
