Australia captain Pat Cummins says he is unconcerned that teammate Usman Khawaja may revisit the 2018 Sandpaper Gate ball-tampering scandal in his forthcoming autobiography, telling reporters 'you can tell your story'. Khawaja is expected to offer his account of the Cape Town episode, which led to bans for Steve Smith, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft and remains one of cricket's most sensitive subjects.
Why now: Khawaja's upcoming autobiography promises new firsthand insight into the sport's most infamous recent scandal, and Cummins' reaction adds a fresh angle.
