Hugh Hefner's widow asks Jessica Biel to refuse Playboy film role
Original: Hugh Hefner widow urges Jessica Biel reject wife role in Playboy Mansion movie
Crystal Hefner, the widow of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, is urging Jessica Biel not to take on the role of a wife in a planned film about the Playboy Mansion. The plea comes as Hollywood develops projects revisiting Hefner's life and the culture surrounding his famous residence. Crystal Hefner has previously spoken critically about her time with the publisher, and she wants Biel to walk away from the part rather than portray life at the mansion.
Why now: A planned Playboy Mansion movie has drawn public pushback from Hugh Hefner's widow, making casting decisions a talking point.
