George Clooney addresses Presley Gerber death, plans Provence restaurant

Original: george clooney

George Clooney is in the news for two separate reasons. He has spoken publicly about the death of Presley Gerber, the son of his close friends Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, calling it devastating. Separately, the actor, who recently took French citizenship, is reportedly planning to open an Italian restaurant in Provence, adding a new venture to his life in France.

Why now: Clooney combined a heartfelt statement on a friend's son's death with news of a new business venture in France, drawing broad public attention.
