Original: Pretend you're sitting at Elizabeth Holmes' desk on this weirdly detailed website https://techcrunch.com/2026/10/08/pret

A newly launched website offers a strangely detailed interactive simulation of sitting at Elizabeth Holmes' desk, recreating the former Theranos CEO's workspace. TechCrunch covered the project, which blends startup satire with AI-generated detail. Commenters appear drawn to the odd mix of nostalgia, mockery and curiosity surrounding Holmes, whose fraud conviction remains a defining episode of the startup world.

Why now: Ongoing fascination with Elizabeth Holmes and the Theranos scandal, amplified by an unusual AI-era interactive project
