Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas has been describing an epic bike ride during which he encountered snakes. 'Saw some snakes, which I was a little bit worried about, but actually they were...' he said, in remarks shared by veteran F1 journalist Adam Cooper. Bottas, now racing away from his long-time Mercedes seat, has become known for his adventurous off-season cycling exploits in his native Finland and beyond.
Why now: Bottas is known for long cycling adventures and fans enjoy his off-track stories during a quiet period in the F1 calendar
