AWS Strands Box puts guardrails on AI agents

AWS has introduced Strands Box, a tool that combines a sandbox environment with policy rules to restrict what AI agents are allowed to do — for example, letting an agent read logs while blocking it from changing infrastructure. The rules can also take an agent's previous actions into account, allowing permissions to tighten dynamically as behaviour develops.
