Amazon launches first Android tablets with Alexa built in
Original: Amazon launches first Android tablets, raising prices and incorporating Alexa
Amazon has launched its first Android tablets, a shift from its Fire line that ran a modified system without Google services. The new devices come with higher prices than previous models and integrate Alexa, Amazon's voice assistant, as a core feature. Reuters reported the launch, which marks a notable change in how the company positions its tablet range against cheaper alternatives and mainstream Android competitors.
Why now: Amazon's move to full Android and higher prices is a significant strategic shift for its budget-friendly tablet brand.
