A photographer shared a macro shot of a yellow Jerusalem artichoke (Topinambur) flower, titled 'Beauty at the Wayside', on the decentralised social network Mastodon. The image, tagged with nature and photography hashtags, has drawn modest engagement, with users in the German-speaking and international photography community appreciating the roadside wildflower photo.
Why now: Photography and nature communities are sharing and engaging with the striking flower close-up.
