Blue Wave Could Be Undermined by Electoral Rule Changes
Original: A Blue Wave Won’t Mean Shit If The Chumps Get Their Way https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https://defector .com/a-blue-wave-wont-me
Defector published a piece arguing that even a strong Democratic performance in upcoming elections could be rendered meaningless if election-related rules or procedures favored by Republicans are put in place first. The article, framed bluntly with profanity, contends that structural changes could blunt the impact of any blue wave at the ballot box. Details of the specific measures referenced are not included in the available material.
Why now: Voters are anxious about whether electoral mechanics could override the results of upcoming elections.
