Stefany Shaheen calls GOP Congress a rubber stamp for Trump

Original: Stefany Shaheen condemns GOP-led Congress as 'rubber stamp' for Trump

Stefany Shaheen, a Democratic candidate in New Hampshire and daughter of Senator Jeanne Shaheen, accused the Republican-led Congress of acting as a 'rubber stamp' for President Trump. Her remarks, reported by Seacoastonline and Foster's Daily Democrat, frame the GOP majority as failing to check the White House, a line of attack she is using on the campaign trail.

Why now: She is running for office and using congressional criticism of Trump to energise Democratic voters.
