A set of selfie-related hashtags, including terms about mirror selfies, phone photos and beauty, is circulating on social media. The tags appear attached to personal photos shared by individual users, with the surrounding conversation focused on taking and sharing pictures of oneself rather than on any news event or public figure. Engagement so far is modest, and no larger discussion or controversy has formed around the topic.
