Original: fusilamiento eeuu

The Pentagon says it will broadcast the execution of Nidal Hasan, the US Army major convicted of the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, who is to die by firing squad. He would be the first US service member executed by firing squad since the Second World War, drawing renewed debate over military justice and how such executions are carried out.

Why now: The Pentagon's decision to televise the execution and its historic nature are drawing attention.
