Cyberpunk 2077 movie adaptation raises producer concerns
Original: Cyberpunk 2077’s movie adaptation is being produced by a producer who largely produces bad films, especially video game films
Cyberpunk 2077's film adaptation is moving forward, and the producer attached to the project has a track record of poorly received movies, video game adaptations in particular. Gamers are voicing concern that the same pattern could repeat with the adaptation of CD Projekt Red's role-playing game, which already carries a reputation from its rocky 2020 launch.
Why now: Fans of the game are worried its adaptation will suffer the same fate as other poorly received video game movies.
