Nvidia opens pre-orders for RTX Spark with N1X chip
Original: Nvidia RTX Spark Pre-Orders Open: N1X Runs 45-80W in Laptops, 140W in Desktops
Nvidia has opened pre-orders for its RTX Spark line, powered by the N1X chip. The chip runs at 45-80W in laptop form and up to 140W in desktops, including the DGX Station for Windows. The wide power range suggests one design serving both portable and desktop AI workstation use, and tech communities are already discussing what the efficiency figures mean for Windows-on-ARM style AI PCs.
Why now: Pre-orders just opened, and the reported power figures for a new Nvidia chip are notable for laptop and desktop AI computing.
