Don Was and Pan-Detroit Ensemble Release Live Grateful Dead Cover

Original: Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble Share "The Music Never Stopped" from Forthcoming Live Album

Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble have shared a recording of "The Music Never Stopped," the first preview of their forthcoming live album. The Grateful Dead cover, performed by Was's Detroit-based all-star collective, was picked up by music outlets including Relix and Jambands, which regularly cover the jam band and Dead-adjacent scene. No release date or full tracklist for the album has been announced yet.

Why now: Coverage in jam-scene outlets ahead of a new live album from Don Was's Detroit ensemble is drawing attention from Grateful Dead fans.
